Had a bachelor party with 15 men and had a great time at the house! From all the games in the house to the huge deck outback and fire pit, we stayed busy! When we needed anything or had any questions, the property manager answered very quickly and handle everything. I would definitely stay here again and would recomend!
We just had my brother's bachelor party in the house. We had 12 people in the house and the size was more than enough. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. The house and backyard had more than enough stuff to keep us occupied for the entire weekend.
Rented this cabin for a bachelor party, and it was v well outfitted for that: log cabin feel, games (shuffleboard, poker table, horseshoes) hot tub, and a nice sized yard for throwing a football. We had about 15 guys, which was just at capacity using the beds and sofas. Secluded-ish (dirt road, but can see neighbors through the trees if you squint). Quite near to some nice trails, with a waterfall and dam, just down the road. Small town 5 min away with grocery/liquor store. No real issues, but owners were very responsive about maintenance q's. Ideal for a bachelor party, but frankly could work just as well for any other big group, family or otherwise. One piece of advice I'd emphasize: make sure to check the propane (as owner indicates), because it may be empty from the last guest. Otherwise, all good, would recommend!
Don't be fooled by the smaller outside appearance of this cabin. It was more than accommodating for our group of 16. We were most impressed with the set up in the basement. Every little detail was meant to entertain, from the bar to the pool table to the shuffle board. And 3 tv's including one massive projector and surround sound? This basement was so clutch for the NFL playoffs. Highly recommend.
The house was great, it was just as spacious and beautiful as shown in the pictures. Victor was great to work with, he gave me a quick rundown on everything White Haven, PA had to offer (bowling, skiing, restaurants, etc.), and he was available for questions 24/7. I highly recommend this house!
Had a great time staying at this cabin in the woods!! The place was warm and cozy and had more than enough bedrooms and beds to accommodate everyone! The cleaning crew was just wrapping up when we started arriving, so it was spotless! We were able to have a small fire out back in the fire pit, grilled some out on the back deck, made breakfast in the kitchen the following morning and there was more than enough pots and pans and utensils to get the job done. We didn't hop in the hot tub but we did play a lot of pool and shuffle board. Even a couple games of poker at the card table. The couches in the basement were super comfy, one of the people in our party even wrote down the info from the tag on it to try to find it himself to buy for his own place. All in all a great stay!! We definitely had the middle of nowhere, cabin in the woods sense that we were looking for. But it was only about 30 min to the casino for gambling. We will probably even be back maybe next year for a reunion!!
The house really is the perfect place for a guys weekend getaway. I rented this for my brother's bachelor party and it passed all my requirements: quiet, tranquil area with an awesome fire pit, room for lawn games, and a deck to hang out on and grill. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous, with wooden beams lining the whole inside adding to the rustic feel to set the mood right. It has ample sleeping space (we had 17 guys) and didn't feel crowded at all. The basement is a small wonderland: the weather turned to rain and we literally didn't leave the house Saturday and still had a blast. From the corner bar you can play bartender as your buddies play pool, sit at the poker table (chips included), giant checkers, shuffle board, and a projection tv. Vic was also great to work with. He was patient, informative, and hilarious and I enjoyed talking with him during what could have been a stressful booking process. One final note - my friend left a book at the house and Vic mailed it out to us - on his dime no less. If you want the perfect place to relax with your buddies look no further - this house is perfect.
VICTOR - You truly are the BEST!!!!! Victor was really really helpful in answering all the million questions I had. He was ALWAYS responsive via text and phone! As soon as I entered the house, it was clean and tidy. There was AMPLE amount of space for 14 of us in a group. The basement was the best part of the house! It had tons and tons of games / a HUGE TV screen with a projector that we used it to pretty much play music videos and dance around. The poker table was used and so was the shuffle board table. This house was amazing and I would book it again for next year. My only recommendation is the road going up to the house was a little bumpy and not finished so don't bring a nice car if you can avoid it. We had a brand new lexus that we drove in and it got a bit scratched up on the bottom. Overall great house!
This property was in a great location and served as a great getaway for the group of people that we went up there with. The property was well maintained and clean upon arrival and had plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The pictures of the house are completely accurate of all of the amenities and the house seemed to be even a little bigger once seeing it in person than it looks from those pictures. Overall, it was an awesome trip for a group of friends to get together, enjoy a weekend skiing in the Poconos, and be completely entertained by the house and its features.
The cabin was more than what the pictures do for it. I went with a group of about 16 and we could not ask for a better place to stay. There was just so much to do, we didn't have to even leave the property. I was a little nervous at first, but it was worth it. Victor was great every time I needed anything or any questions, he responded almost right away! I highly recommend staying at this cabin!
This house was simply amazing. We had an idea of what we were getting into based off of the pictures online, but seeing it in person was truly the icing on the cake. Our first impression of the house was that it was immaculate and the size was perfect for our 18 person group. The house made our weekend a true success and we would definitely book this property again. I would highly recommend this house. The owner was great to work with and was so quick to answer any of our questions or concerns. Cannot wait for our next trip to the Poconos!
Property was better than expected. The pictures don't do it justice. Went there for a bacehlor party expecting to be a bit crammed nothing could be further from the truth. There was plenty of space, plenty of rooms and places to sleep. The game area was very large and not crowded. We even hosted our fantasy football draft off the projector and it worked out perfect. I'd highly recommend the house to the next group.
Came here for fourth of July weekend, spoke to the manager and he was great! Very helpful, prompt. Couldn't ask for better. This house was actually really easy to find and what you see in the pictures is what you get in the house. Everything looks fantastic. Lots of things to do in the house. Big projector which was very helpful since we streamed movies. Overall our stay here was awesome and would definitely book again!
We were blessed to find this gem of a home last minute. The photos don't do it justice - every bed made sleep comfortably numb, the house was so clean it shined, and all the activities (pool, shuffleboard, movies, hot spa, fire pit, etc) just made what was originally a rainy day camping an ideal weekend just staying on the property. There's plenty to do nearby, but we were more than contented just staying there. The best part of the stay was no doubt working with Victor. He's a gentleman among gentlemen, going out of his way to ensure a quality night's stay. If you're on the fence about booking, I'd recommend acting now. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better spot for you and your friends and family.
Where should I begin? First, I would like to commend the property manager Vic for his prompt response to my inquiry and taking the time over the phone to answer my many questions. I was a little leary at first since this was a new listing but Vic reassured me this was a new listing and after seeing his 3 other properties and all their reviews, I was very comfortable moving forward with the rental. I made the perfect choice! The cabin was just totally renovated and the pictures did this cabin no justice! Upon arrival we were delighted to see how remote the area was (but within minutes to the stores and casinos). My girlfriends and I were looking for a last minute getaway and Vic told me we were in luck because he just finished remodeling this new cabin. There was so many things to do in the cabin we didn't even want to leave at all! The cabin slept 12 of us comfortably with 6 bedrooms and 3 full baths! There was plenty of room for us to hang out and the basement was amazing! Pool table, shuffleboard table and a movie theater room with a huge projection television and screen! We even spent time outside sunbathing and playing horshoes and relaxing in the hot tub. Our only regret was not staying longer. I would recommend this cabin and look forward to returning in the fall!
